Nach Studium der Sozialpädagogik in Köln lebe ich nun schon seit 10 Jahren in Spanien, wo ich als Deutschlehrerin und Übersetzerin tätig bin. Meine Fachgebiete liegen in Übersetzung technischer Texte wie ein Baulexikon mit 8.000 Einträgen, Übersetzung für Nuklearanlagen, Übersetzung in den Bereichen: Tourismus, Geschichte (Lexikon über Ägypten), Musik (Lexikon der Popmusik), Kunst und vieles mehr.
Having translated numerous books (fiction and non-fiction) for publishers in Austria, Germany and Switzerland since 1985, I am a specialist for creative texts, i.e. not only for translation, but also for adaptation and localization.
